At Caswell Springs United Methodist Church, we recognize that people encounter God in different ways. As such, we aim to create services that are as unique as the people who have gathered to worship. We pray that our Sunday services will allow you to offer authentic praise unto God. Both morning services are rich in scripture, preaching, and song.
At our early morning service, we focus on three distinct acts of worship: gathering to praise God, listening for God's Word, and responding to God's Word. Participants in this service will experience the Word in different - often more contemplative - ways than we do at our 10:50 service. Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month, and each Sunday during the seasons of Advent and Lent.
At our late morning service, we offer a distinctly intergenerational worship service that incorporates congregational songs from many different traditions, choirs of all age levels, and other worship arts such as drama and dance. We feel that worshiping God in unique ways encourages more intentional participation in God's mission for the world. Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month.
Our evening service offers a different message than the one provided in the morning services. Recent services have included youth-led worship, creative teaching on specific books of the Bible, and congregational prayer during times of need. Currently, our 6:00 group is engaged in a study on the book of Leviticus.
